Regulatory disclaimer
This page sets out the regulatory position of this website. It covers medicines, medical devices, in-vitro diagnostics, and personal protective equipment, each of which is regulated differently. It should be read together with the terms of use.
Who this website is for
This website is intended for qualified organizations: government and public procurement bodies, ministries of health, hospitals and healthcare groups, pharmaceutical and medical distributors, licensed importers and wholesalers, laboratories and research organizations, international procurement organizations, and institutional purchasing teams.
It is not intended for patients, members of the public, or individual healthcare professionals seeking product information for clinical use.
Different products, different regimes
The categories described on this website are not governed by a single regulatory framework. Medicines, medical devices, in-vitro diagnostics, and personal protective equipment each follow separate routes to market, with different responsible parties, different conformity or registration requirements, and different labelling obligations.
A statement made about one category does not carry across to another. Requirements applicable to a given product in a given market must be established for that product and that market.
Not a pharmacy and not an advertisement
This website is not an online pharmacy. It does not sell, dispense, or offer medicines or medical products to individuals, and it does not process orders.
The product information published here is not advertising for prescription medicines directed at the public. It describes sourcing scope for qualified organizations. No prices, stock levels, availability indicators, or purchase functions are published.
No regulatory or quality claims
Crusomed does not operate manufacturing facilities. Products are made by third-party manufacturing partners, including products sold under Crusomed’s own brands.
Nothing on this website should be read as a claim that any product or manufacturer holds any particular certification, conformity assessment, prequalification, approval, or registration. Any such status is specific to an individual product, manufacturer, and market, and must be verified with documentary evidence for each requirement.
- No claim of Good Manufacturing Practice certification is made for any manufacturer.
- No claim of World Health Organization prequalification is made for any product.
- No claim of ISO certification is made.
- No claim of CE marking, UKCA marking, or any other conformity assessment is made for any device, diagnostic, or item of protective equipment.
- No claim of compliance with any protective-equipment standard is made for any product.
- No claim of bioequivalence, marketing authorisation, or registration is made for any product in any market.
No guarantee of supply or acceptance
We do not guarantee product availability, production capacity, delivery dates, customs clearance, regulatory acceptance, documentary sufficiency, or the outcome of any tender or procurement process.
Responsibility of the importing party
The party importing or placing a product on a market is responsible for satisfying that market’s requirements, including registration, importation licensing, labelling and language requirements, pharmacovigilance obligations, and distribution controls.
We can coordinate documentation that is available from a manufacturer. We cannot determine whether it satisfies the requirements of a given authority, and we do not act as a regulatory representative.
Company history
Statements on this website about when the business began, and about the locations from which it operates, describe the business and its team. They are not a statement about the incorporation date or registered history of any particular legal entity, and should not be relied on as one.
Where a procurement process requires certified information about corporate history, registration, or trading record, that information will be provided from the relevant register on request.
No institutional endorsement
Crusomed is not owned, approved, endorsed, certified, appointed, or officially partnered by the United Nations, any government, any ministry, or any public institution. No statement on this website should be read as implying such a relationship.
Reporting a concern
This website does not receive adverse event reports or product quality complaints. Report these to the marketing authorisation holder and to the competent national authority. For any question about this website, please use the enquiry form on the contact page.
